Seven young women and men from Germany´s Jugendaufbauwerk Plön-Koppelsberg started their journey Køge in Danmark on 28th of October 2013. There they worked in several workshops together with Danish participants from the educational institution Fremtidslinjen for one week.
Participants exchange in Køge
After receiving a warm welcome in the Danish institution the participants made a decision for one of the four offered workshops. Available were: Theatre (silent picture), IT-Media (cutting), Kitchen (cooking, baking) and wood work shop (butter knife and hands of wood). The results of the work had been presented proudly at the end of the week by the participants.
In order to reduce the German-Danish language barriers inbetween the participants, they started testing with excitement a language-App. In the free time, excursions to the city centre of Køge, to the museum „Mini Køge“ and to Copenhagen were made.
At the end of the week, the German adolescents started their way home wistfully and tired but enriched with a lot of positive and new experiences, memories and joy and because of the intensive exchange. Now everybody is looking forward to the next year when in February 2014 Danish adolescents from Køge will in return visit those from the Jugendaufbauwerk in Plön-Koppelsberg.
